Learning Center is an alternative program for students who can benefit from an opportunity to work independently at their own pace. Students in Learning Center can complete all necessary courses for high school graduation. Student can be enrolled in Learning Center during 1st and/or 2nd period in the morning, as well as in the evening (Night School). The bulk of the course work is independent with contact time with instructors. Students work at their own pace but are require to earn minimum amounts of credit each session. Computer-based instruction and project-based instruction are common modes of learning .
Learning Center classes are reserved for students who have Junior and/or Senior credit standing. Placement in Learning center is determined by the school counselor and the CORE teacher.
Day Learning Center Hours 8:00 – 9:55 Monday – Friday (Periods 1 and 2)
Evening Learning Center Hours 6:00 – 9:00 Tuesday and Thursday (Night School)
