ACTIVITIES FOR EMHS STUDENTS
Emerson High School has an Associated Student Body (ASB) and there are many ways to get involved. We have an Art Club, a Garden Club, and a Sewing Club. EMHS Leadership/Core Congress hosts many activities during the year, from dances, to special breakfasts, movie nights, fundraisers etc. We also produce our own yearbook and have a Student Store.

ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES FOR EMHS STUDENTS AT THEIR HOME HIGH SCHOOL
STUDENTS AT EMERSON HIGH SCHOOL ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES/SPORTS, ASB CLUBS, STUDENT GROUPS, OR ACTIVITIES (SUCH AS DANCES) AT THEIR HOME HIGH SCHOOL, DEFINED BY THE STUDENT'S HOME ADDRESS. SUCH PARTICIATION MUST NOT INTERFERE WITH THEIR EMHS ATTENDANCE OR WORK.
If families would like to get updates from their home high schools, parents can sign up for their home high school's newsletter. This can be found at the very bottom of each school's home webpage. Then parents will see weekly notices of sports registrations, clubs, and upcoming events at that school.
Home High Schools Athletics & Activities
Students will need to contact their home high school for deadline information for when sports registration occurs and when paperwork is needed – deadlines change for each season. Please check the home high school website and look under “Athletics” for detailed registration information or contact the Athletic Secretary at their home high school.
Sports participation fees are $200 per sport and an ASB card from that home high school is also required to participate (cost is $50). These fees will need to be paid at the home high school.
Also, all LWSD fees and fines must be paid in order to be cleared to participate – check with EMHS Bookkeeper for fees/fines ledger.
Visit home high school website under “Activities” for a listing of clubs/student groups.
To participate in ASB clubs, student groups, or activities at the home high school, an ASB card from that home high school is required (cost if $50). This can be purchased from the home high school’s bookkeeper.
